Cash For Kids – First Call Charity
A Scottish home assistance company is coming to the rescue of a children’s charity by running a fundraising event in Aberdeen this weekend.
First Call will be at Sainsbury’s on Holburn Street all day on Saturday and Sunday to fundraise for their new official charity, Cash For Kids, which works in conjunction with North Sound Radio in the region.
It is the latest effort by the firm to give back to the local community and with every sale of a home emergency policy at the event, 15% of the monthly cost will going to Cash For Kids.
Benefiting Aberdeenshire Children’s Aid Groups
Cash For Kids provides grants to groups in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire that bring benefits to sick and underprivileged children, specifically to give them a brighter and better future.
The cash raised by First Call will directly aid local families and organisations that work with children who may be disadvantaged through poverty, or who help to improve the lives of sick and disabled children living locally.
Paul Greaves, Director of First Call, said:
“Cash for Kids is a charity close to our hearts and all of the staff at First Call will be arranging fund raising days throughout the year to benefit local children and give them opportunities that they may not usually have.
“We hope that Saturday’s event will generate substantial funds for this hugely worthwhile cause.”
Ann Marie Miller, Scottish Regional Charity Manager of Cash For Kids, said:
“We are delighted that First Call has chosen Cash for Kids as their official charity. This is a great initiative in that people can not only protect their boilers and heating systems but also they are benefiting local children and helping to make a difference to often the most needy in our area.
“We would urge many more companies to follow the example of First Call and consider adopting Cash for Kids as their official charity.”
First Call is a fully FSA regulated Scottish home assistance company with a fresh new approach to delivering customer focused products their clients need and rely on.
